Anthony Joshua bought his ex a £500,000 penthouse and bought his mother a Range Rover

£61m Anthony Joshua gave his ex-girlfriend an apartment for half a million dollars and gave his mother a Range Rover without spending a single penny on himself.

Since he rose to fame, ANTHONY JOSHuA has blown his riches on conspicuous items such as many mansions, extravagant vacations, and pricey sports cars, but he does not find any enjoyment in any of these things.

The heavyweight champion would rather spend his 61 million dollars on his family and friends than on himself. He currently has a net worth of 61 million dollars.

Anthony Joshua has made millions of dollars, but he does not let his wealth dictate how he spends his money.

In addition to this, he is responsible for paying the costs associated with the medical care and education of children living in the neighborhood.

According to information provided to The Sun Online by a source with direct knowledge of the circumstances, “AJ doesn’t splash his cash on himself but he does on others; his team, his family, his former trainers, his friends, and his community.”

As a result of putting the requirements of others ahead of his own, purchasing a mansion for himself is not very high on his list of priorities.

“He isn’t trying to show off with the gifts; rather, they are expressions of gratitude on his part.”

According to Sean Murphy of the Finchley Amateur Boxing Club, the boxer’s first coach and a personal friend, the Watford star’s demeanor would not change even if he received £300 million for each fight he competed in.

Homes for his mum and his son

Joshua frequently expresses his undying love for his mother, social worker Yeta Odusanya, on social media.

While he has become a global sensation, he and his wife still resided in a two-bedroom ex-council estate in Golders Green, North London. This was despite the fact that he had previously rented a magnificent £20,000-a-week mansion.

Following his Olympic success in 2013, the boxer purchased the home for his mother at a cost of £175,000.

All of us are together again. The world champion, who was 6 feet 6 inches tall, gushed about his decision to move back in with his mother.

Now he shares a large house in North London with his mother and kid.

Recently, Joshua mentioned that he and his loved ones had to go into lockdown.

“I have no gym or swimming pool in my house,” he said to DAZN.

My mother, niece, son, and cousin and I are quarantining together at my childhood home, which is great.

We are all aware that a global pandemic is unfolding, but thankfully the virus has not had any devastating repercussions on my family.

We’re making the most of our time together, so to speak.

He gives much of the credit for his accomplishments to Yeta, who helped him straighten himself after a time of youthful defiance.

His parents divorced when he was 12, but he and his father, Robert, remain close.

Despite Joshua’s absence, Sean still sees him once a week. “He’s got a little boy [JJ, 3] and his mum looks after the little one when he’s away, so they spend a lot of time together when he’s home,” Sean adds.

They are inseparable.

“Josh’s parents have instilled in him a strong sense of right and wrong, and as a result, he is a humble, kind, and respectful young man.”

Despite their breakup, AJ nevertheless bought Nicole Osbourne, his ex-girlfriend and JJ’s mom, a £500,000 penthouse in Finchley, North London.

Luxury holidays and shopping sprees for his team

AJ has a huge entourage to help him stick to his packed schedule.

And he rewards their efforts with luxury holidays, nights out, shopping sprees and flights by private jets.

“He’s got a good crew around him and most of them are his personal friends from way back – people he can trust,” says Sean.

“They’ve all been away with him on holidays. They went to Vegas for a week and went shopping, and I hear they were all looked after very well.”

Those in his inner circle include school friends and family members, such as his cousin Ben.

The uS sportswear company under Armour sponsors Joshua, and the company kindly loaned him a private jet for the team to use.

Sean tells us that he, too, has been given a free vacation, despite the fact that he trained Joshua more than a decade ago.

“He asked me, ‘Are you coming to New York?’ as he entered the fitness center. “I’ve got it all worked out; you’ll come out three days before the fight and three days after the fight and treat it like a vacation,” he says.

He has helped me, my wife, and the other coaches at my gym get our lives in order.

BMW and Jaguar cars for his coach

Joshua has a fleet of cars himself – but hasn’t had to pay a penny for them as they’re gifted by his sponsors, Jaguar Land Rover.

But he does buy them out of his own pocket for his nearest and dearest.

He famously surprised Sean with a £95,000 BMW in 2017 – with Sean initially finding it hard to drive because it was so high tech.

“I’m a builder by trade and used to vans and pick-up trucks so this is like a Rolls-Royce to me,” Sean laughs. “I couldn’t even start it when I got in it because it’s keyless. He was just laughing at me struggling!”

In a recent post, Joshua shared the background story on why it was crucial for him to personally thank Sean.

“My first boxing club was where I learned self-control,” he reflected.

Learn how to put aside your pride and follow directions if you want to succeed.

“Sean’d tell us to’shut up, get on the bags, and stop talking.’ Remember what he told you, he said.

Whatever happens, I know I can leave my door open at these guys’ place. Whoever was there while no one else there will be indelible in my mind.

He was sponsored by Jaguar, so he used the money to buy his mom a brand new Range Rover.

“I feel like I’ve never had the time to focus on helping her,” AJ said, “so when her car broke down, I was just like it’s that time – if I’m going to do anything I’ll sort her out with a nice car, and so I got that as a present.”

He replies to his own fan mail

Joshua agrees with Sean that his boxing club is based on a strong sense of collaboration.

That’s why he keeps coming back once a week; he’s always been there for them when they’ve needed him most.

“I’ve got another coach who was very ill, and he paid for him to go to Harley Street to see a specialist, which really helped,” Sean explains.

Another coach sent a player to the physio because of a rotator cuff injury.

It’s like, ‘Do you want anything?’ he asks me all the time. He and his cousin Ben stepped up to the plate and bought us some brand new, top-notch punching bags and other gear.

To to one employee: “We get lots of letters come here for him and he picks them up, takes them home to read them and reply to them personally.”

An inspirational figure

Many of the younger gym-goers look up to Joshua as a role model, but he encourages them to focus on their studies and avoid negative influences.

There are benefits for them in listening to him as well.

Sean relates how one of the boys had been having trouble in school until Josh pulled him aside and told him, “I’ve signed you a glove, if you pass your GCSEs you can get the glove.”

The child was sobbing on the floor.

“Another boxing instructor messaged me and said his nephew had cancer, so when I came to the gym I told Josh about it and he immediately signed a hat and gave it to the youngster, as well as making a video for him. What a sweet gesture, and I’m sure it means a lot to the little kid.

He acquired a minibus and gives the young fighters tickets to his fights as a reward for good behavior.

Sean explains, “He restored all the seats in leather, installed a television and a play station for kids.

The club received forty tickets to the Klitschko fight, which were given to deserving club members.

The Royal Box was packed with children. They had a blast; it was a wonderful day trip.

It appears that Joshua’s history may explain why he is so eager to aid the youngsters.

As a young man, he ran afoul of the law and was sent to Reading prison on remand for two weeks for possession of cannabis.

When he was 18, boxing provided an outlet for him.

Sean, who mentored Josh, spoke fondly of his former student, saying, “I get all sorts of kids in the gym, some are fighting and getting into trouble but I never had that with Josh.”

To paraphrase his mother, “He always got along with everyone and was down to earth, he went off the rails as a teenager, which is normal for a lot of kids to do, but that’s just growing up and he was never disrespectful.”
