Selena Gomez has quelled rumors of her rift with Francia Raísa by sending birthday wishes to the “How I Met Your Father” actress on Instagram. Selena wrote in her wishes: “Happy birthday to this special person. No matter where life takes us, I still love you.”

Attaching her wishes, Selena Gomez attached a bunch of old photos of herself and Francia Raísa. In a photo believed to be from 2017, the two are dressed in all-white and drinking champagne. Meanwhile, the second photo shows friends celebrating Gomez’s birthday party last year.

However, Raísa didn’t immediately respond to Selena’s congratulations even though just minutes earlier she had shared photos of her poolside birthday celebrations.

Earlier reports from local media stated that Selena and Francia Raísa’s relationship fell apart last November when Selena called Taylor Swift her “only friend in the industry” in the documentary ” Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me”. Raísa – who donated a kidney to Gomez in 2017 while Selena was battling Lupus – is said to have not ignored Selena’s words in this situation. She felt disappointed with Selena’s statement above.
