Here’s what it’s like on the inside of the unexpected celebrity hotspot that Tyson, Paris, and the Radfords won’t leave

WELCOME to the town that boasts a five-mile long sandy beach, a trendy seafront art deco hotel and celebs who simply refuse to live anywhere else.

As unbelievable as it sounds, no it is NOT Los Angeles, Miami or somewhere posh on the Med – it’s Morecambe.

Morecambe, a beach resort in the north of England, was once so unpopular that it served as the inspiration for Sam Jordison’s tongue-in-cheek book ‘Crap communities,’ which highlights all the problems plaguing run-down British communities.

The author spared no detail in explaining why Morecambe was included in the book, noting the city’s dilapidated architecture, closed businesses, and pervasive air of abandonment.

The council’s thugs haven’t done much to improve the beach town of Lancashire’s dismal image.

Morecambe was chosen as the location for one of Noel Edmonds’ failed Crinkly Bottom initiatives in 1993.

The fat cats of the coast were hoping to profit off of Mr. Blobby’s fame. However, the newly constructed park was quickly shut down after its opening.

Historians blame the popularity of inexpensive flights and package holidays for bringing an end to Morecambe’s once-thriving tourism industry.

A trip to the gloomy northern beach resort of Morecambe wouldn’t hold a candle to the sunny islands and coasts of Spain.

However, today the town is praised by the likes of Tyson and Paris Fury.

The Gypsy King revealed his financial balance of £43m in public documents last year, although he and his wife have been living in Morecambe for the past 15 years.

There’s a chance they own a property in glitzy Las Vegas, but they have no plans to leave it for the more affordable but less enticing environs of London, or even the similarly trendy towns of Liverpool or Manchester.

They live in a beautiful Morecambe des res with their six children, three males all named Prince and three daughters with sparkling names like Venezuela, Valencia, and Athena.

The family keeps things grounded by enrolling their children in public preschools and elementary institutions.

They like to bring up their children in the luxurious kitchen of their £1.6 million Morecambe property, which features a never-ending glass-topped table as its centerpiece and a full-on chandelier.

The rooms have more swagger than Mike Tyson in the ring. The married family’s bedroom features a chesterfield bed and opulent velour drapes that frame the room’s magnificent views.

Their ‘Gypsy King’ logo in the Parisian backyard, they boast, turns it into a “statement backyard;”

Both Tyson, now 35, and Paris, now 33, are widely respected figures in their respective fields. Morecambe was also featured on the premiere episode of Netflix’s celebrity docuseries At Home with the Furys, which aired earlier this week.

Beautiful sights of the Lancashire shore wooed the audience.

It’s no surprise that the reality show topped the worldwide streaming channel’s UK charts less than a day later.

In this unfiltered look into the lives of Tyson, Paris, and their six kids in Morecambe, we see them as they really are.

‘The Gypsy King’ claims that “hundreds of millions” of viewers will tune in to see At house with the Furys because the majority of filming took place in the family’s Morecambe house.

Throughout the nine episodes, we see the world heavyweight boxing champion, his wife Paris, and his six children going about their everyday lives in the coastal hamlet where they have made their home.

The Gypsy King gets a haircut at K1 Barber’s on Euston Road, stops by Keegan’s coffee shop in Poulton Square, and eats at Atkinson’s chippy on Albert Road, none of which are Selling Sunset locations.

Tyson runs on the Prom, takes his kids to the beach, and tours Salt Ayre point in these videos.

While in Morecambe’s bustling downtown, Paris and her daughter Venezuela are recorded getting their nails done.

The Furys aren’t the only large British family that live in Morecambe.

Sue and Noel, a couple with a combined age of 96, are the delighted parents of 22 children and residents of Morecambe, a seaside town in Lancashire.

In 2004, the Radfords paid £240,000 for their 10-bedroom property, a converted nursing home.

Morecambe and his family are accustomed to the limelight. For the last decade, viewers of the hit Channel 5 series 22 Kids and Counting have watched as documentary cameras followed the Radford family.

The third season premiered in 2023, and a fourth season has already been ordered.

The series centers on domestic life and the many definitions of “home.” It includes a jacuzzi that cost £27,000, high-tech washing machines that cost four figures, and a bar in the open air.

The family is well-known for not accepting charity and instead relying on their successful company. After seeing how much demand there was for their pies online, the parents opened a pie store in Morecambe.

They’ve been on the search for a new home in the region for a while now. There was a time when the Radfords considered moving to Florida.

They still didn’t reveal where they were moving to until July. The precise site has not been disclosed, but what are the odds that it’s in Morecambe?

Both households are wealthy to the point that they could easily relocate if they so desired. Since the typical home costs £184,000, you won’t see the Beckhams or their ilk relocating to Morecambe any time soon.

The Furys and the Radfords appear to have insider knowledge of “crap town” Morecambe, though.
