On October 28 in Saudi Arabia, the reigning heavyweight world champion of the WBC will make his return to the ring against Francis Ngannou.

Both Ronaldo and Neymar are pursuing professional careers in the Middle East at the moment. When they come to play in the Saudi Super League, both of them are paid extremely high salaries. However, Fury, the current champion of the heavyweight division in boxing, has stated that their salary is nothing compared to what he is capable of doing.

In an interview that was conducted exclusively for SunSport, he revealed the following information: “They’re paying big money, and everything they’re mentioning is big.” And I think I just made the biggest boxing deal that has ever been done in the history of the sport. In the past. It is not my duty to discuss monetary matters, but suffice it to say that this particular number is quite large. But will it alter my personality? To be honest, no.

When questioned if this was only an agreement for one bout, Fury responded, “Can’t say for sure but this is the biggest boxing deal that has ever been made in the history of the sport.”

“You know, out of all the historic football deals like the ones involving Ronaldo and Neymar, this one completely blew them away.”

It has been reported that Ronaldo will sign a contract of £3.3 million each week, which works out to be comparable to £173 million per year. As a result, Ronaldo tops the list of highest-paid sportsmen in Forbes’s 2023 edition, with boxer Canelo Alvarez coming in fifth on the list with a total of £88.7 million.

Neymar is now playing for Al-Hilal, where he is rumored to earn a salary of approximately £2.5 million each week. In 2017, Fury was only in the ring twice, against Dillian Whyte, 35, and Derek Chisora, 39, respectively. Because of this, he fell off the list of the top 50 people at Forbes. However, in 2022, after earning £50 million, he dropped to the 15th position.

Instead, he has set his sights on being the wealthiest athlete in the world, just like the UFC legend Conor McGregor did in 2021. Fury declared, “I want to be at the very top of Forbes’ list.

“And I’ll most likely do it either this year or the year after. I am the sports industry’s leading moneymaker, regardless of the sport. That is the one and only thing I have any interest in doing. I make a lot of money, and I also want to be at the top of that sports list right now, and Conor has done extremely well for himself in his career.
