Blake Lively gave a touching speech about her husband Ryan Reynolds at the 2022 36th American Cinematheque Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday night. She was pregnant at the time.

Lively, who was 35, looked beautiful in a plunging spaghetti-strap dress. She stood next to her well-dressed husband, who was 46 and being honored at the ceremony. 

But before the pregnant Gossip Girl star went on stage, Reynolds said on the red carpet that their kids would not be child actors.

Reynolds told People, “When you put a kid in a business like this, it’s usually not about the kid.” Most of the time, it’s about the parents.’

He told them that when they are older, they can do whatever the they want. “I’m looking forward to that.”
