Taylor Swift will spend Thanksgiving “back home” while on the South American leg of her Eras Tour.
It’s not clear if her boyfriend Travis Kelce will be spending the holiday with her, but a source told Page Six that the 33-year-old pop star plans to “jet back home” to “be with family” after her show in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Sunday.
The 34-year-old tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs doesn’t have a game on Thanksgiving, and neither does his older brother Jason, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles.
With her latest nomination for song of the year, the 13-time Grammy winner broke a record. She will finally go back to São Paulo for her next show on November 24.
Taylor Swift is going to spend Thanksgiving with her family back home after her South American leg of her Eras Tour.
Travis’s next game isn’t until November 26, when his team plays the Las Vegas Raiders.
People earlier this month thought Travis might be celebrating with Swift after his mother, Donna Kelce, told them she wasn’t “quite sure” what his plans were for Thanksgiving.
“But I know I’ll be in Philadelphia because he has a game that Sunday,” she said. “Yes, I will be there for that game.”
The family has been traveling for the holidays since Travis, 34, and Jason, 35, were in college, so this is nothing new for them.
“Ever since they were in college, we’ve always been on the road,” Donna said.
Both brothers played football at the University of Cincinnati. They would spend Thanksgivings there, or one of the sons would host when they got to the NFL.
“I’ve never been in my own home cooking for Christmas or the holidays,” Donna said.
“That’s just being a mom for the NFL.” You have to go where they are because it always works.
The 13-time Grammy winner is very busy. Her next show is in São Paulo on November 24.
Last month, Yahoo Entertainment said that the singer and an NFL star were becoming more serious in their relationship.
“They are already making plans for the future,” a source told them.
They’ve even talked about having kids. Travis wants them in about a year, and Taylor is totally on board.
“He’s just the guy she’s been looking for.” I can see him getting married to Taylor, he said.
This month, Travis’s mother, Donna Kelce, told People that she wasn’t “quite sure” what his Thanksgiving plans were, which led to rumors that he would be celebrating with Swift (the new couple was seen on October 22, 2022).
Swift fans went crаzy on Saturday night when she added a few words about her NFL star boyfriend to the lyrics of her Һit song Karma. Her boyfriend was watching the game with her dad in a VIP tent.
Swift changed the line from “Karma is the guy on the screen coming straight home to me” to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me.”
Kelce, 34, and her father Scott danced and sang in a VIP tent at Swift’s Argentinian Eras Tour stop on Saturday night.
The moment Kelce heard Swift’s improvised part was caught on video going viral. It showed the famous athlete slamming his hands to the side of his face in shоck, then he started dancing.
Swift changed the line “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me” from the original “Karma is the guy on the screen coming straight home to me.” She sang this in public for the first time last month in New York City.
While she was singing Willow, Taylor thought about Travis more than just the change in the lyrics. She sang directly to him and mouthed the words “that’s my man.”
Kelce was waiting in the wings to greet his girlfriend after the show. The Grammy winner, who was very happy, ran into his arms and they kissed.
Scott, who had just met Kelce, was seen wearing a Chiefs lanyard around his neck, even though he is a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan. This seemed to be a sign of approval.
This season, Taylor went to four of Kelce’s games. During his off time, the NFL star returned the favor.
Swift has shown her support for her new boyfriend by going to a few games at Arrowhead Stadium. On Sunday, she also held a watch party for the WAGs at her New York apartment while the Chiefs played the Miami Dolphins.
