Taylor Swift is returning to New York City after a week-long stay in Kansas City with boyfriend Travis Kelce.

While Swift’s unexpecteԀ return home appears to be unplanned, the singer has been nominated for TIME Magazine’s Person of the Year, with the winner to be announced on Wednesday morning. 

Some fans assumed that the multi-Grammy winner was in New York to film for the Today Show, which announced the finalists on Monday.

Swift, who hasn’t returned to her luxury penthouse apartment since completing the South American leg of her Eras Tour, is competing against Barbie, Vladimir Putιn, and King Charles III.

She did, however, return there Tuesday afternoon after her flight. She went to the Dogpound gym a few blocks away to work out within an hour.

She flew from Sao Paolo to Kansas City to be with Travis, then to London and back in 24 hours to attend Beyonce’s Renaissance film premiere.

 

The couple is expected to spend the next few weeks together in the Midwest while Taylor is on a two-month break from her international Eras Tour.  Swift has not said whether she will return to Kansas City before her 34th birthday on December 13, or if the Chiefs tight end will join her in New York for the festivities.Travis was last seen leaving his house around 11:30 a.m. in his Rolls Royce, where he stopped by the McLain’s Market drive-thru to order a breakfast sandwich and a cold drink. He then drove to the Chiefs’ training facility before returning home at 4 p.m. The Chiefs host the Buffalo Bills this Sunday in Kansas City. 

It’s unclear whether Swift will return to Kansas City before her 34th birthday on December 13, or if the Chiefs tight end will join her in New York for the festivities. 

He flew to Green Bay with his teammates on Saturday.

A day later, his girlfriend flew 90 minutes to snowy Wisconsin to watch the Chiefs lose to the Green Bay Packers.

Taylor arrived in Kansas City around 1 a.m. on Monday and reunited with Travis. 

Taylor had finished her tour and arrived in Kansas City last week, where she went straight to her love’s new luxury pad.

‘Taylor’s still smitten with Travis,’ a source told DailyMail.com at the time. But she realizes that because they will be spending weeks at a time together, the hard work in their relationship is about to begin.

‘Up until now, it has been a race against time because they both have such demanding schedules.’

They’ve done everything they can in those brief moments – she’s watched him play in the NFL five times, he flew 5,400 miles to Argentina to see her in concert, and they both appeared on Saturday Night Live.

‘Obviously, those aren’t things that a typical new couple would do in their first months together,’ the source explained.

‘However, Taylor and Travis can now try to be as normal as their lives allow.

‘They finally have the opportunity and time to spend some quality time together.’

Taylor was spotted settling in and paying a visit to BFF Brittany Mahomes at the mansion she shares with quarterback husband Patrick last week.  

Travis’s new home features a Beverly Hills-style swimming pool and jacuzzi, a six-car garage, a lighted tennis and pickleball court, and a miniature golf course on three acres of heavily wooded pristine land.

The couple got into the Christmas spirit early last week when they joined quarterback Patrick Mahomes for a festive bash on Friday night. 

Green Bay coach Matt LaFleur was the first to sаy the pop sensation would be in the stands on Sunday.  

‘Does she have a reason to be here? That’s what I’ve been told. So we’ll have to wait and see,’ he said on Friday.

‘That’s only part of it; we’re definitely more focused on the game. But I’m sure there will be some enraged fans in the stands if she shows up.’

She has already visited Arrowhead Stadium three times and also went to MetLife Stadium to see the Chiefs play the New York Jets.

Her relationship with Kelce has dominated the NFL in recent months, raising the profile of the tight end, the Chiefs, and the league as a whole.
