Taylor Swift was overcome with emotion as she watched her boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs lose a nail-biting game to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night.
The pop star flew in from New York City early Sunday morning to watch Kelce play for the sixth time this season, sitting alongside his family in a VIP suite at Arrowhead Stadium.
Swift experienced a range of emotions as she watched her man put his body on the line in a tight game, first looking downcast as the Chiefs fell behind in the first half, then leaping to her feet as Kelce made some big plays to pull the home team level.
Kelce made an incredible play in the final minutes that appeared to have won the game for the home team, but it was called back for an offside in the build-up and the Bills went on to win, ensuring Swift has seen her boyfriend lose in two straight games.
Swift’s latest trip to Kansas City comes just days before her 34th birthday and at the end of a historic week that saw her named TIME Magazine’s Person of the Year.

In the second half, the pop superstar was back on her feet as Travis and the Chiefs rallied
When she arrived at the stadium, she was seen wearing a red outfit with the Chiefs’ logo emblazoned across the chest, and she later took selfies with fans in the box before cheering on Travis during the game.
The pop star appears to be obsessed with the NFL this season, especially now that the South American leg of her Eras tour is over, as she traveled to Lambeau Field last week to watch her beau and the Chiefs lose to the Green Bay Packers.
She waved to fans who called out to her as she boarded a golf cart to be driven into Arrowhead for Kelce’s latest game on Sunday.
After performing in Argentina and Brazil, the singer is taking a break from her massively successful Eras tour until February.
She spoke to TIME Magazine this week for an interview in conjunction with her big award, opening up about the attention she receives when she goes to cheer on Travis.
‘I’m not sure how they know what suite I’m in,’ she explained. ‘There’s a camera a half-mile away, and you have no idea where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I’m not sure if I’m being shown 17 times or once.
On Friday night, she was also seen with a group of celebrity friends on a girl’s night out to dinner at Lucali in Brooklyn.
Selena Gomez, Zoe Kravitz, and Cara Delevigne joined her for the occasion.
