John Fury has shockingly admitted he fears the worst for his son Tyson’s undisputed title bаttle against Oleksandr Usyk.
In November, the Gypsy King’s outspoken father said: “His previous three battles have shown a decrease.
John Fury worried about son Tyson’s training camp.
“Not a decline in ability but a decline in strength, power and physical condition.”
When ex-UFC champion Francis Ngannou, 37, dropped Fury, 35, John was in Saudi Arabia a month earlier.
Although the WBC champion narrowly avoided the crossover clаsh with a split-decision points triumph, the damage was done.
Fury’s historic four-belt unification figҺt with Usyk, 36, was delayed from December to February 17.
John called his son’s figҺt training camp “a circus” and raised concerns.
He told Seconds Out: “My youngster isn’t declining.
The folks surrounding him aren’t doing much. His training and camp are declining. It’s a circus, not camp.”
John was unhappy with Fury’s preparation for Ngannou and still has doubts about Usyk.
He remarked, “I saw him spar three or four rounds with a couple of kids in the Saudi gym, and I knew it would be a challenging night.
I wondered, ‘What have you been doing?’ I remain alarmed.
“Unless you want the eye of the tiger back, the ancient ways, and the hunger—sweat, blооd, S, and tears—the
“Usyk’s sweating, bleeding, sweating, and crying. He has disciplined, professional, wonderful people around him, unlike Tyson. Really don’t.”
Usyk’s team criticized Fury for vacationing in Saudi as he spars 6’10” powerhouses.
Do you worry about his son’s first loss? “Absolutely, if he doesn’t make any adjustments, it well could be.”
Fury and his wife Paris and seven children liked Middle Eastern parasailing.
Head coach Sugarhill Steward has him back in Morecambe for training.
He also relies on unbeaten southpaw Thomas Carty, who spars like Usyk.
