Taylor Swift recently spent $1,200 on five vintage Kansas City Chiefs sweatshirts at a local Kansas City boutique.

According to Chris Harrington, owner of Westside Storey, Swift placed an online order for Chiefs gear in mid-October.

Harrington added that the store has seen unprecedented sales since Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end boyfriend Travis Kelce were publicly linked, dating back to a Sept. 24 appearance at Arrowhead Stadium.

Swift went to the Chiefs’ game against the Bears that day and has gone to seven Kansas City games in total.

According to Forbes, after the most recent Chiefs game against the New England Patriots on Sunday, there was a 12-hour period of 400-500 people on the store’s website, with Swift in attendance.

Swift’s appearances in Westside Storey’s clothing resulted in the store’s ‘best week ever’ after it had been open for about a decade.

‘She’s conscious of what she’s wearing, and she’s not wearing commercial fast fashion—she’s wearing someone’s brand that is very small and has a limited number of items,’ Harrington told Forbes.

‘We’re grateful to be able to do that for someone’s small business.’

Harrington would also like to contact Swift about visiting his store in person.

Kelce, 34, has spent his entire NFL career with the Chiefs, and his celebrity has skyrocketed since his romantic relationship with Swift.

‘Taylor has previously worn their vintage sweatshirts!’ the message concluded, followed by a link to the designer’s Depop page – a social e-commerce company.

Swift was spotted wearing the $250 vintage sweater while watching the Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills game on December 10, two months after placing the order.

‘Just the concept of that sweatshirt being in my closet just like a month ago and now seeing it on her and the biggest stage, the biggest star, was surreal,’ Harrington said.

‘I know we didn’t make that sweatshirt, but it was cool to be associated with it.’

Chris explained that the Kansas City-based store has seen sales increase by ‘500%, 600%, today we’re 1,000% over our typical sales…’
