Taylor Swift fulfilled a terminally ill nine-year-old girl’s dream on Friday.

Swift gave away her signed ’22’ fedora to young Scarlett, who is fighting an aggressive form of brain cancer, at the first of her Eras tour shows in Sydney.

Taylor has a tradition of giving a signed hat to one lucky fan in the audience while singing her song, 22.

‘Unfortunately, they told us it wasn’t possible, so we used the power of social media and some generous people to make the concert happen and get tickets.

She then posted a photo of Scarlett, who has been given only 12-18 months to live, holding a poster that read, ‘Taylor, can I have the 22 hat please?’

Taylor later used the young girl’s wish as a command during the concert.

Scarlett was invited up to the stage, and the singer embraced her while she handed over the fedora before tenderly kissing her hands.
