Taylor Swift faced criticism for allegedly ignoring Celine Dion while accepting the Album of the Year award at the Grammys on Sunday.

Dion made a surprise appearance at the ceremony, despite her battle with stiff-person syndrome, to present Swift, 34, with the honor, which she won 27 years ago.

Swift, who was nominated for her 2022 record Midnights, became the first person to win the accolade four times. She took the stage at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles to celebrate.

Dion, 55, presented Swift with the award, but she did not acknowledge Dion or make eye contact, instead focusing on celebrating with her collaborators.

However, there appeared to be no ill will between the iconic pair, who later posed happily backstage.

Dion was visibly moved as she walked onstage with her eldest son, Rene-Charles Angelil, 23, to cheers and a standing ovation to present Album of the Year.

She said, ‘Thank you, everyone! I love you back. You look stunning. When I say I’m glad to be here, I mean it from the heart.

‘Those who have been fortunate enough to be present at the Grammy Awards must never take for granted the immense love and joy that music brings to our lives and to people all over the world.’
