‘Her voice has a raspy tone, and her movements are calmer and more reserved. The show must go on… a queen,” said another.
I hope she is okay. Taylor, please get some rest as soon as possible. We love you! Someone else wrote, “Stay safe and well.”
‘Looks like she only has two shows left before taking the entire month of April off, so hopefully she can rest!’ added another.
‘I can only imagine how exhausting it must be on tour to give it your all with every performance. “She is incredible!” one more person exclaimed.
Fans quickly chimed in in the comments.
Swift fans in Southeast Asia have expressed dissatisfaction with Swift’s controversial one-time performance in the region.
The 34-year-old global superstar is currently performing at Singapore’s National Stadium, her only stop in South-East Asia. It has been reported that the country pays the pop star $4.3 million per show.
‘Singapore paid a large sum so that no other South-East Asian country could have a chance,’ complained a fan on social media.
‘Should boycott Singapore and Taylor,’ said another.
‘Typical Singaporean behavior; they would do anything to get one over on their neighbours,’ complained another.
The clip showed Swift coughing and then clearing her throat while performing her song Delicate.
Swift’s grant from Singapore Tourism Board to bring her tour to the wealthy nation sparked a dispute between the neighboring countries.
Thailand’s Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin accused Singapore of paying Swift millions per concert to secure her exclusive rights, which he discovered after the deal was cut.
Speaking at the Bangkok iBusiness Forum 2024, Thavisin stated, “The Singaporean government is clever.” They told us not to hold any more shows in Asia.
The Thai Prime Minister called Singapore’s decision ‘astute,’ adding that he had long wondered why Swift had not played in Thailand.
The Singapore shows are likely to boost the economy. Swift has sold out six nights this month at the National Stadium, which seats 55,000 people.
It comes as Southeast Asia Swifties have grown enraged over Swift performing only one stop in the area under controversial circumstances
