A new love interest
For some reason, Taylor has found time for love in her life despite her busy tour schedule.Taylor recently went out with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, after a lot of speculation in the media and in secret.
Things seem to be heating up between the two. Taylor has started going to Chiefs games regularly to cheer Kelce on from the box seats, and recent changes in their home life make it look like they are seriously dating…
Look what she made him do!
Kelce recently confirmed that he spent $6 million (£4.8 million) on a Kansas City mansion, where the couple can enjoy some privacy. According to TMZ, Kelce’s old house was “starting to become a tourist attraction” and was far too accessible.
The couple will be able to enjoy a waterfall, mini golf course, and swimming pool without having to leave the privacy of the property, which is located within a gated community. While this appears to be a significant investment for Kelce, the NFL star’s $14 million (£11.3 million) annual salary and $57 million (£46 million) four-year contract will undoubtedly help!

Where did Taylor Swift grow up?
Taylor Swift has progressed from a country girl to a global pop superstar. But where did her rise to the top start?
Taylor grew up on a Christmas tree farm in Cumru Township, Pennsylvania, before the Swifts moved 15 minutes away to this five-bedroom home in Wyomissing, just outside of Reading.
She became interested in music when she was nine years old. The ambitious youngster appeared in Berks Youth Theatre Academy productions and traveled to New York City on a regular basis for vocal and acting lessons.
Taylor Swift’s childhood home in Pennsylvania
The high ceilings of the 3,560-square-foot Georgian Colonial home would have provided excellent acoustics for the rising star, who had learned to play the guitar at the age of 12 and was performing at weekend festivals and events.
At the age of 13, the aspiring star was offered an artist development deal after performing original songs at an RCA Records showcase.
The start of Taylor Swift’s music career
Swift grew up in the suburbs until she was 14, when her family relocated to Hendersonville, Tennessee, so she could pursue her musical career.
Taylor’s former family home, which is listed for just under $1 million (£807k) in March 2022, has undergone extensive interior and exterior renovations and is now outfitted with cutting-edge home technologies as well as plenty of marble and granite. Could this have been the singer/songwriter’s childhood bedroom?
Taylor Swift’s first apartment
Taylor’s first step onto the property ladder occurred in Nashville, Tennessee, where she launched her country music career with her first eponymous album in 2006.
Taylor bought her first home in 2009, when she was only 20 years old, after the song ‘You Belong with Me’ from her second album, Fearless, peaked at number three on the charts. The rising star paid nearly $2 million (£1.6 million) for her first home, a 3,240-square-foot condo in the heart of Nashville’s Music Row.

The star reportedly designed the interior of the apartment, which is located in the luxurious Adelicia building, and described her style as ‘whimsically girlie’.
These photos depict another apartment in the high-end building, but Taylor’s would have had the same floor-to-ceiling windows with skyline views of midtown Nashville and a state-of-the-art kitchen for the home-loving singer to cook up a storm.
Taylor Swift’s first apartment
The apartment, located near the recording studios and music producers she was working with at the time, was an ideal first home for the rising star. More recent photos of the apartment show it as a neutral, spacious unit, but we’re sure Swift put her own spin on it during her tenure.

The corner unit penthouse has three bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, and a balcony where Taylor can enjoy her morning coffee.
She would also have had access to the Adelicia complex’s luxurious amenities, which include an Olympic-sized heated lap pool, a fitness center with an on-site personal trainer, and a private park.
Taylor Swift’s Cape Cod-style Beverly Hills home
Taylor’s music career skyrocketed following the release of her album Speak Now in 2010. Taylor’s six-time platinum album was successful enough to allow her to purchase a beautiful old house in Beverly Hills, a celebrity hotspot.
The nearly one-and-a-half-acre home, hidden behind gates and a long driveway, has a sports court within its private grounds and plenty of trees to keep nosy fans at bay.

Swift still owns the palatial property, but it’s unclear who lives there. The grand house is adorned with period details throughout its numerous elegant sitting rooms, as well as French doors leading out to the resort-style pool area.
Taylor Swift’s mid-century modern home in Los Angeles
Taylor purchased this magnificent mid-century modern home in Los Angeles for $1.8 million (£1.5 million) in 2012. The wonderfully retro property represented a departure in architectural style for the star.

The sleek, modern home was built in 1959 and retains the clean lines and retro appeal of that era. The dreamy living and dining rooms overlook the leafy backyard and are adorned with numerous heritage features. According to the Los Angeles Times, Taylor allegedly used it to host guests while living in another Beverly Hills residence.

The single-story house would have made an ideal LA base for the star’s visitors, with four bedrooms and five bathrooms spread across 2,950 square feet, more than enough space for a family. The period features include beamed ceilings, extensive glass walls, and a 1,000-bottle climate-controlled wine cellar.

In search of a place to stay on the East Coast, the singer bought this 11,000-square-foot beach mansion on Rhode Island’s Watch Hill for $17.8 million (£14.4 million). Swift reportedly paid cash for the seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom home; now that’s what we call flash!

It’s known as the house where Swift hosted parties with her ‘girl squad’, particularly her famous 4th of July celebrations, and it’s the ideal property for entertaining, with an eight-seater dining table that overlooks the lush surroundings.
The star was also seen frolicking in the surf just outside the house with her then-boyfriend Tom Hiddleston, whom she dated in 2016.

The mansion has 700 feet of shoreline and views of Block Island Sound and Montauk Point. It’s a dream vacation home for the busy star to get away from it all and unwind with friends and family while enjoying the fresh sea air.
The mansion was once home to socialite Rebekah Harkness, and its history inspired the song ‘The Last Great American Dynasty’ on Swift’s eighth studio album Folklore, which was released in the summer of 2020.
Taylor Swift’s Tribeca penthouses
By February 2014, Taylor had her sights set on New York’s trendy Tribeca neighbourhood. Taylor Swift’s Big Apple empire began in February 2014, when the singer purchased not one, but two stunning penthouses. The sprawling properties cost the singer just under $20 million (£16.4 million).

Swift’s new real estate investment was purchased from Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson, who listed the duplex penthouses for a hefty multimillion-dollar price.
Swift combined the two separate condos into one large city pad after the sale, moving into a rented apartment in the West Village while the work was being done.
With a total area of 8,300 square feet, the apartments include nine bathrooms and nine bedrooms, as well as private wraparound terraces that add an additional 6,000 square feet to their already spacious floor plans.

Shifting her focus to Los Angeles, the singer purchased another Cape Cod-inspired home in 2015, further expanding her celebrity property portfolio. Swift paid $25 million (£20.2 million) to buy the seven-bedroom Los Angeles home from the family of legendary Hollywood producer Samuel Goldwyn.
In 2018, she applied for and was granted landmark status for the estate, ensuring that it will never be significantly altered or demolished.

Old Hollywood glamour can be found throughout the house, including the grand sweeping staircase and curved hallway walls. Swift is the first person to own the property outside of the Goldwyn family, whose legendary parties once featured Clark Gable and Charlie Chaplin.

The rustic mansion has many luxurious amenities, including a cinema room, library, card room, gym, swimming pool, and tennis court, as well as a private apartment for overnight guests.
Taylor is a big fan of traditional Americana interior design, so she decorated her home with a mix of vintage furniture and contemporary art.

Outside, the large pool is flanked by a covered patio area where you can soak up the sun. Swift and her architect reportedly completed exterior renovations in 2016, which included restoring wooden decorative elements such as lattice panels and finials. The pool cabana was also reportedly restored to its original 1934 design.
Taylor Swift’s Cornelia Street rental
This adorable converted carriage house in New York City’s glamorous West Village was Taylor’s dream rental in 2016 while she was renovating her Tribeca penthouses. The singer paid $39,500 (£32k) per month for the 21-foot-wide brownstone on Cornelia Street, but with double-height ceilings, hardwood floors, three fireplaces, and spectacular city views, this historic home was well worth it.
Taylor adored the property so much that she wrote a song about it, ‘Cornelia Street’, which appeared on her 2019 album Lover.

The 5,500-square-foot home, built in 1870, includes four bedrooms and seven bathrooms. While recently renovated, the old and new blend seamlessly.
The home boasts a stunning chef’s kitchen, Lalique light fixtures, and industrial-inspired floor-to-ceiling glass windows that let in plenty of natural light. When the sun goes down, the dining room is illuminated by an ornate Murano chandelier.

Luxury Italian furniture firm Zanotta purchased the converted carriage house in 2019 for $11.5 million (£9.3 million) and reimagined it as an immersive show space for some of the company’s best pieces. The property served as a ‘by appointment only’ VIP shopping experience, allowing customers to’step inside the mind of the brand’ and even stay overnight in the historic building.
However, the property will go on the market at the end of May 2023 for just under $18 million (£14.5 million). It is now listed for rent at $45,000 (£36k) per month and appears to have been rented out.

Over three floors, the 5,000 square foot townhouse has four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. A movie theater, heated floors, a gym, a rainfall steam shower, and a limestone jet bathtub are just a few of the opulent features it offers.
Despite its picturesque appearance, the house has a sordid past. In 2011, while facing a criminal investigation, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, a French politician and former head of the IMF, was placed under house arrest at the opulent property. He rented the property out for $50,000 (£40,000k) a month during his incarceration. Despite the failure of the criminal case against Strauss-Kahn, a settlement was eventually reached in a separate civil lawsuit alleging that he had sexually assaulted a hotel employee.

The floor plan compensates for the building’s small size. The property’s master bedroom is located on the upper level and has a wet bar, walk-in closets, and wide-plank oak flooring. The house has speakers installed throughout and custom lighting that looks out onto a charming cobblestone street.
Swift supposedly started dating English actor Joe Alwyn about a year after buying the lavish townhouse, so it’s likely that the two of them spent some time together in the opulent city retreat.
Swift has had a busy few years, releasing multiple albums and re-releasing them in addition to her highly anticipated, sold-out “Eras” tour in March 2023. In fact, in July 2023, she made history as the first female artist to have four albums simultaneously listed in the US Top 10.
Who knows what the singer will do next, given her recent billionaire status and her developing romance with Travis Kelce? Keep an eye here!
