During the Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber feud over Scooter Braun’s acquisition of the record label Big Machine Records (BMR), every move the two singers make on social media is scrutinized.
Most recently, fans discovered that the Look What You Made Me Do singer liked numerous posts criticizing Justin Bieber and Scooter Braun. It includes an article about the Canadian-born male singer’s affair while dating Selena Gomez.
“I believe that’s problematic. Because beliefs and other factors will prompt your mind to think. Walking down the street and meeting a beautiful girl will get you in trouble.” “It’s confusing,” the male singer said.
On June 30, Ithaca Holdings paid $300 million for Big Machine Records (BMR). Scooter Braun, the manager of Justin Bieber, Kanye West, and other big stars, is the new CEO of BMR.
As a result, Ithaca Holdings will own BMR’s music products, which include six albums by the female singer born in 1989, Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, and Reputation.
The Wildest Dream singer wrote an angry post on Tumblr, claiming that Scooter Braun’s efforts to create works associated with the Taylor Swift brand were appropriated. Attached is a photo of Justin Bieber’s post from 2016.
Bieber is seen in the photo chatting on FaceTime with Scooter Braun, Martin Garrix, and, most notably, Kanye West, Swift’s biggest rival. The photo was accompanied by the text “What’s wrong Taylor Swift”.
Following the incident, a number of artists, including Adele, Selena Gomez, Camila Cabello, Katy Perry, and Miley Cyrus, unfollowed Scooter Braun on social networking sites.
