We were casually watching the Golden Globes, distracted by Idris Elba’s handsome self as he came out to present an original song, when we noticed… Taylor Swift. Plot twist! Despite not appearing on the red carpet until the afterparty, the singer of “Reputation” accompanied Idris to present the award on stage. Idris and Taylor will star in the upcoming Cats movie adaptation, set to premiere in December of this year.

Fans on Twitter quickly lost their cool when they saw this iconic duo and Taylor’s surprise appearance. Taylor looked stunning in a black off-the-shoulder dress featuring a thigh-high slit. Will she sing “Dress” to her boyfriend Joe Alwyn, who is attending the Globes with the rest of the cast of The Favourite? Probably. Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, and Idris Elba all appeared on stage at the same time to accept the award for “Shallow” from A Star Is Born. It was just too much.
