Selena Gomez flaunts a voluminous Sixties-inspired bouffant at the Toronto Film Festiva

On Sunday, Selena Gomez appeared stunning as she promoted her queer crime musical Emilia Perez at the Variety TIFF Studio during the Toronto International Film Festival. The 32-year-old actress showcased a dramatic, Sixties-inspired bouffant hairstyle. She completed her glamorous look with a sleeved little black dress, dark tights, and coordinating pumps.

She wore a natural glam make-up look.

Selena was reunited with her Emilia Perez co-star, Zoe Saldana.

The former Disney Channel star shared behind-the-scenes images on her Instagram Story.

In Jacques Audiard’s highly praised film, Selena Gomez takes on the role of Jessi Del Monte, the wife of a transgender Mexican cartel leader. The film is set to premiere in select theaters on November 1 and will be available for streaming on Netflix starting November 13.

In contrast, Zoe Saldana, who plays the undervalued lawyer Rita Moro Castro, was seen wearing a black top paired with matching pants and peep-toe heels.

At TIFF, Selena and Zoe were accompanied by their co-stars Karla Sofia Gascon, Adriana Paz, and Edgar Ramirez.

Selena shared her admiration for Edgar with Variety, saying, “Oh my god, I loved [Edgar]!” She added, “I only use the past tense because I have a new love in my life, sorry!” She praised Edgar for making the experience enjoyable, noting that he was always attentive to her comfort and supportive throughout the process.

On the same day, composers Clement Ducol and Camille Dalmais were awarded the TIFF Variety Artisan Award.

The Emilia Perez team will next travel to Northern California on October 5 for the Mill Valley Film Festival, where they will be honored with the Outstanding Ensemble Performance award.

Additionally, at the Cannes Film Festival on May 25, Selena, Zoe, Karla, and Adriana collectively received the Best Actress award.
