Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez have gone through ups and downs together, had times of conflict but still maintained a close, close friendship.

According to People, Taylor Swift caused a stir on social media after posting a photo of herself with Selena Gomez. The singer kissed her best friend on the cheek and the photo received 16 million likes.

The two famous singers have had a friendship that has lasted 15 years. They have gone through many ups and downs, even conflicts, but have overcome them to support and accompany each other.

In a 2017 interview with KIIS FM UK, Selena Gomez shared that she and Swift met because they both dated members of the Jonas Brothers band in 2008.

“We dated the Jonas Brothers! This friendship is the best thing we got out of those relationships,” Selena Gomez revealed.

A year later, Selena Gomez said of the British singer: “Every problem I have, Taylor Swift helps me heal. Taylor has been through those problems, and she’s older than me so she always gives me good advice. Thanks to her, I haven’t lost faith. We actually talk every day.”
