The film, set to release in select theaters on November 1 before streaming on Netflix starting November 13, has already garnered impressive critical praise, earning an 86% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Speaking at Deadline’s Contenders London event, Selena expressed her excitement about being involved in the project.

“I wanted to be a part of this for many reasons,” the Texan-born star shared. “As an actor, it’s a privilege to work with someone like Jacques, and on a personal level, I’m honored to learn from these incredible women. None of us expected the film to achieve this level of success, but we’re truly grateful. For me, this project is a stepping stone to what I’m capable of and what I’m willing to pursue.”
